Mofo anana are two words in Madagascar local language that holds the meaning of bread and leafy greens respectively. These snacks are easily found almost in every part on the island of Madagascar.

In African continent, Somalia is located in the horn of Africa, eastern part of it. Nafaqo is a snack like dish, with the term "Nafaqo" to mean "nutrition". It is widely known and prepared around Somalia due to it's easy in cooking and ingredients accessibility. In Somali homes, Nafaqo is a breakfast, fast meal or as snacks.

Chad – Esh

Esh cuisine is among the northern Arab cuisines made from boiled millet flour. Chad is located in the north-central of African Continent bordering Libya in the north, Niger in the west, Cameroon on the west-southern part and Central African Republic to the south, as well as Sudan to it’s east.

Algeria – Rechta

Retcha consists of thin and flat noodles (traditional pasta dish) and sauce made with chickpeas as well as chicken. Traditionally, the dish prepares in wedding events, at the end of Ramadan fasting and Ashura.

Nigeria – Banga Soup

The Banga Soup cuisine originates primarily in the south and mid-western parts of Nigeria. Many settlers from the area consumes it at large. It is tasty, smooth and lovely.

Like I wrote in my past article on Banana cake, here is a meal that it is cooked with plantains. This is a plant that grows banana’s which is eating as fruit and plantains that is cooked or roasted before it is eaten.

Madagascar – Akoho Sy Voania

Akoho sy voania is also called Poulet Coco in Madagascar island. The island is located in the Indian Ocean on the south-east part of the African continent, simply off the coasts of East Africa. It is location is seen form the eastern part of Mozambique country.

Cameroon – Banana Cake

Banana is a fruit eating by humans and animals. This is a very old fruit that bares from a flowering plant of the Genus Musa. It had long existed. This plant bares plantains and banana. Plantains could be used for cooking while banana is eating as a fruit.

Cameroon – Coconut Cake

In the western world, cakes are commonly eating as meals. A slice of cake with fruit juice makes the belly heavy and satisfied. Cake is food which is sweet because, one of the ingredients used in making cake is sugar.
