Introduction

This is a local Asian cuisine which is eaten by many people all over the world. This dish is also served in many restaurants and It is popular among all over the world because of it’s good taste and healthy diet. This is also a healthy dish because of vegetables in it. It is made by ketchup and chicken.There are many ways of making this dish. Mine is simple and easy to make. If you want to make this dish delicious you just have to follow these steps.

Ingredients

Ingredients for chicken marination

  • Boneless chicken 500 gm
  • 2-3 tbs cornstarch
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 egg
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbs ginger garlic paste

Ingredients for saute veggie

  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1 cup onion cubes
  • 1 cup capsicum cubes
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup tomato cubes

Ingredients for gravy

  • 2-3 tbs oil
  • 1 tbs garlic
  • 1 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 1 tbs hot sauce
  • 1 tbs vinegar
  • 1 tbs oyster sauce
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbs red chili flakes
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tbs black pepper
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • water as required
  • green onion

Method

  1. First of all cut the chicken into thin slant sheets
  2. Now in a bowl add chicken, egg, salt, cornstarch, oil, black pepper and ginger garlic paste.
  3. mix them well and set aside for 20-30 minutes.
  4. In the same pan add some oil, saute chopped garlic.
  5. Add ketchup,hot sauce, ouster sauce, spy sauce, vinegar, red chili flakes, salt, black pepper, and sugar when garlic starts to turn brown.
  6. when it starts to bubble, add water as required and let it cook for 5-6 minutes.
  7. once the gravy starts to thicken, add fried chicken and sauteed vegetables.
  8. mix it gently and cook it for 4-5 minutes.
  9. now heat the hot plate on the stove and pour the prepared shashlik on the hot plate and serve hot
