Pakistan – Kebab of Fish and Vegetables

INTRODUCTION

Kebabs are famous meat dishes. Kebabs are originated from Middle East. Kebabs are mostly eaten in Asia. Traditional meat for kebabs is mutton but in this recipe fish is used. We can also make kebabs with mutton, beef, chicken and fish. Kebabs are also famous in Europe with names of shish kebabs. There are ton of recipes of kebabs like shami kebab, tandoori kebab and boti kebab etc.

INGREDIENTS

  • Fish = half kilogram
  • Potato = 250 gram
  • Peas = half kilogram
  • Pomegranate seeds = 30 gram
  • Ginger = 15 gram
  • Salt = two tablespoon
  • Cauliflower = 250 gram
  • Onion = 125 gram
  • Crushed red chili = two spoons
  • Blend group of spices = 1 spoon
  • Coriander = 1 spoon
  • Cumin seeds = 1 spoon
  • Oil = 250 gram
  • Eggs = 4

PROCEDURE

Clean fish and cover whole fish with salt and wait for one hour. After one hour wash the fish. Wash potatoes and cut into pieces. Cut the onions into small slices. Add fish, peas, potatoes, cauliflower, onions, one spoon salt and one and half cup water in pan and cook it in low flame. When water dries remove the pan from flame and chop the stuff. Chop pomegranate seeds, ginger, red chili, blend group of spices and coriander and add this chopped material in fish and vegetables. Mix whole material and make tikki with it one by one. Tikki shape is made by hand first make a ball then press the ball it will make a circular plane of high width. so after making tikki take a plate and add eggs on it. Take another pan and cover its surface with oil. Now cover tikki with mixed eggs and fry it on pan. After frying serve these tikki with some sauce.
